Happy Valentine's Day - Now for Spring!

Valentine's isn't a big one for us in Bluebell & Willow, a few cards and the odd Sterling Silver jewellery or a fun quirky gift. We have an amazing florist in Hillsborough and are 5 minutes from a huge Marks & Spencers so the red roses and meal deals are where the money is at. 

I spent my Valentine's Day with my two favourite little people but of course at five and two they were none the wiser that today was any different except that it's half term so there was no rushing out the door this morning. When we went to do a few jobs outside and have a run round the garden Spring was definitely in the air. The daffodils are shooting through the grass, the grass is greening and starting to grow and the air was just a little milder.

Spring is such a lovely time in the shop after our recent visit to Spring Fair & Moda trade shows. We visited our current favourite brands of Wrendale Designs, Sophie Allport, Lunar Shoes, Lighthouse Clothing, Voyage Maison, Powder and Elie Beaumont leather bags to name a few. We also visited lots of new stands and potentials suppliers and one we are very excited to have on board Jelly Cat!

All the new stock is starting to arrive in and fill the shelves with colour and newness. The new ladies clothing with the warm, cosy knitwear but using a pastel palette is the perfect way to transition from the cold and darkness of Winter to the milder and brighter days of Spring. Everyone needs these perfect transitional pieces in the Wardrobe as much as we all need Spring!
